Linee di ricerca

1- RNA therapy: SINEUPs are noncoding RNAs that can specifically stimulate protein translation of an mRNA of interest. We are developing SINEUP molecules to target a variety of protein-coding mRNAs of biotechnological or therapeutic interest. 2- Tissue engineering: We equitably use various cell lines and bacteria, alone or together, in 2D as well as in 3D to perform a comprehensive panomics-based evaluation of biomaterials. 3- Ferroptosis and ER stress: Study of the molecular mechanisms regulating ferroptotic cell death, ER stress and autophagy in the pathogenesis and treatment of cancer and inflammatory diseases. 4- Cancer metabolomics: Through in vitro/vivo approaches, we elucidate the mechanisms of metabolic adaptation, switching and alterations of immune and lung cancer cells in response to modulation of tryptophan and lysine metabolism.
