Genomics and Bioinformatics unit (B&Gu). B&Gu is an interdisciplinary group devoted to the study of multifactorial diseases by mean of high throughput technologies - i.e. Next Generation Sequencing – and bioinformatics. B&Gu.The main focus of B&Gu are:
Identification of biomarkers in the area of oncology and complex diseases.
Definition of control mechanisms of carcinogenesis modulated by miRNAs.
Developing analytical methods for next generation sequencing applied to RNA-seq
